I'm so happy to share this space with you. Whatever brings you here today, I am so glad you have come, and I look forward to exploring how we might work together to help you feel more confident and connected on your parenting journey.
I am a trained Infant Mental Health Clinician, Social Worker, and a Mother to two wonderful boys.
I have been working in this space for 17 years, and I can honestly say that I feel so fortunate to be here. It is such an honour to be invited into the lives and homes of new parents during those precious, vulnerable moments. I am constantly in awe of their openness and generosity in allowing me in and sharing their experiences.
Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor of Social Work (RMIT University), a Postgraduate Diploma in Infant Mental Health (Melbourne University), a Fellowship in Infant/Parent Mental Health (University of Massachusetts, Boston), and a Certificate in Family Therapy (Tavistock Institute, London). Alongside my clinical work, I run Infant Massage Classes and Mums and Bubs Group classes, a services which I am excited to share via www.bringingupbaby.com.au / @bringingupbaby.au
I am an accredited member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), a member of the Australian Association for Infant Mental Health (AAIMH), and I am honored to be part of the Community of Fellows at UMass Chan Medical School Boston, USA.
My Clinical Approach:
I take a warm, relational approach to support parents/carers in navigating the joys and challenges of early parenting. I support babies aged 0-3 years of age and their parents/caregivers. My goal is to create a safe and compassionate space where parents feel held, validated, and empowered to connect meaningfully with their baby.
I have been guided and informed by multiple modalities and therapeutic frameworks throughout my career. I offer individualised approaches that are most aligned to your unique circumstances.
